Children can attend the skate party for free and enjoy roller skating and eating pizza and cotton candy.\n\n\n\nCitizens can sponsor a child to attend the party by making a donation of $10 per child\, Metts said. In addition\, citizens and businesses can provide a sponsorship at the Mentor level for a donation of $100 and a sponsorship at the Guardian Angel level for a donation of $150.\n\n\n\nBatesburg-Leesville Resident Deputy Melissa Garner is coordinating the participation of the Sheriff's Department in the skate party\, Metts said. Perry Children's Shelter provides emergency housing for children who have been abused\, neglected\, abandoned and exploited\, Metts said.
