To Benefit Becky's Place at Lexington Medical Center
Women Involved in Rural Electrification (WIRE) is a community outreach arm of Mid-Carolina Electric Cooperative (MCEC). With three chapters in the MECA service area, we have approximately 175 active members. Our goal is to help improve the lives of those in the communities where we serve We have raised over $76,000 for breast cancer patients during the past ten years. This money is given to Becky's Place to be used for women who cannot afford prostheses or wigs.
