27th Annual Benedict College Black History Teleconference: 9:00am Wednesday on the campus of Benedict College. Commemoration of the national theme, "The Golden Jubilee of the Civil Rights Act." The panelists' areas of expertise include health, business, marketing and law enforcement. Award-winning poet Nikky Finney will moderate and Mignon Clyburn, commissioner on the Federal Communications Commission, will serve as explicator. It features high school and Benedict College students who will ask prominent African-Americans about their ideas, challenges and achievements.
