We are excited to have the "real deal(s)" as our musical entertainment this year! Orleans and Felix Cavaliere, of The Rascals, wrote and sang the background music to our lives. If you're like me, hearing a song brings back a time or event in your life. When I hear Orleans' "Dance With Me," it reminds me of an August day in Jacksonville Beach, Florida, in 1975, with great friends, all home on summer break, getting ready to head back to college...another hit, "Dancin In the Moonlight" was the theme to my senior prom, in 1973! Likewise, The Rascal's "Good Lovin," brings back a Spring day in 1966, at a Battle of The Bands..."People Got To Be Free" pulls at memories of 1968. Larry Hoppen and Felix Cavaliere wrote or co-wrote, and sang those hits and many more; Felix is a member of the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame!
Tickets includes dinner, wine, beer, juried art show, and concert by ORLEANS with special guest Felix Cavaliere fromerly of The Rascals.
Proceeds benefit:
