Child Abuse Awareness Month/APRIL
Lexington, SC-April will begin the observance of Child Abuse Awareness Month. The Lexington Guardian ad Litem Program will hold a FREE training course to teach community volunteers how to advocate for children taken from homes of abuse and neglect. Be the one to say, "I am for the child." This is a 30 - hour training program that focuses on the family court system, how to recognize abuse and neglect, and how to communicate with children and others involved in the case. Training begins on April 14, 2014 and ends on May 1, 2014. Morning and evening training is available.
