Event Description:
The Lexington County School District One Educational Foundation presents its fourth annual Dancing with the Stars Lexington event. Local celebrities partner with professional dances from Columbia's Ballroom Company to form 13 couples. These couples will compete in Dancing with the Stars Lexington, an event modeled after ABC's hit television show, "Dancing with the Stars."
The funds raised from this year's event will be used for budgeted priorities such as 21st Century Innovation Grants for elementary schools; further development and design of the Center for World Languages and International Business; The Leader in Me program which develops the knowledge, skills and attitudes of student leaders; and other special funding requests for programs, events, or activities that support the district's mission and vision.
