The Golden State Foods Foundation is a non-profit 501(c)(3) that was established to help children and families in the areas where GSF associates live and work through personal involvement and contributions. The GSF Foundation awards grants to children’s charities, nominated by GSF employees, that benefit a variety of worthy organizations such as: Ronald McDonald House, Dream Riders, EdVenture Children’s Museum, Nancy K. Perry Children’s Shelter, Dickerson Center for Children, Rolling Readers, Thomas Caughman Memorial Youth Hunt, and Harvest Hope. For more information on the Foundation, our web address is www.gsffoundation.org.
In addition to our associates’ contributions, we hold the GSF Foundation Golf Tournament each fall to enhance our grant fund, enabling us to do even more for our community. If you would like to participate or make a tax deductible contribution, please fill out the entry form on the back of this page and return it to us by September 12th, 2012 along with your check payable to Golden State Foods Foundation. Payment via credit card is also available the day of the tournament. Participation is limited to the first 25 teams, so please reserve your spot as soon as possible. If you have any questions, please call the tournament director, Darwin McDonald or Chairman Alan Howlett at (803) 957-9811.
