Heart Health Screening

St. John's Lutheran Church will have a Heart Health Screening available to the community. The Lexington Medical Center staff will perform the following screenings for FREE. Blood Pressure Assessment; Glucose (Blood Sugar) screening test for risk of developing diabetes; Lipid Profile (Total Cholesterol, HDL, LDL and Triglycerides) screening test for coronary heart and vascular disease. Additional Screenings are Available at a Cost: Thyroid Profile $32.00 (detects thyroid abnormalities); Vitamin D Level (detects deficiencies) for $40.00. Cash or Check Only is Accepted for Payment. Fasting is required for 12 hours prior to the screening. You should drink plenty of water before arriving to avoid dehydrated veins. Lexington Spinal Care personnel will be available to give FREE massages.
