COLUMBIA, SC -- On December 2, 2012, residents of the Shandon and Hollywood-Rose Hill neighborhoods will welcome visitors to the annual Homes for the Holidays Tour. This event, held in some of Columbia’s most historic neighborhoods, will feature several unique homes decorated for the Holidays.
The tour will take place from 2 pm until 6 pm on Sunday, Dec. 2nd. Advance tickets are $15 and will be available beginning November 21, 2011 at Piggly Wiggly on Devine Street, Piggly Wiggly on Forest Drive, Revente, Edwin Watts Golf on Harbison Boulevard, Just the Thing, and Gibsons on Devine. Tickets are also available through www.ticketleap.com (web purchasers will be charged a $2.00 surcharge). Admission the day of the tour is $20 payable at A.C. Moore Elementary School. The following homes will be part of this year’s tour:

Also, the Tour will feature the Doors of Sims Alley, where visitors will be entertained by the Hand Middle School Orchestra, and St. John’s Episcopal Church, at 2827 Wheat Street, which is celebrating its 100th anniversary. Earth Fare and some of Columbia’s favorite restaurants will be providing samples of their finest selections at Sims Alley and several of the homes on the tour.
Proceeds from the tour, which is sponsored by the Shandon Neighborhood Council and the Hollywood-Rose Hill Neighborhood Association, will benefit the neighborhoods’ four schools, A.C. Moore Elementary, Rosewood Elementary, Hand Middle School, and Dreher High School, as well as other neighborhood projects.
