C-Cycle Studio in Lexington’s Old Mill will present two cycling classes April 28 for the Wish Upon a Hero Foundation. It joins more than 200 participating gyms across the country for the philanthropic event. The classes are at 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. Registration is $25, which reserves a bike.
Proceeds from the “Be a Hero 4.28.12” event will benefit the WUAHF, which grants the wishes of Americans in need and provides assistance for basic, living, healthcare, pet, service, and educational needs. WUAHF has partnered with RealRyder® International LLC, creator of the RealRyder® ABF8 indoor bicycle. RealRyder International supports the U.S. military and serves health clubs, boutique cycling studios, rehabilitation and wellness facilities, and professional athletic training centers.
Four satellite locations across the United States will live stream cycle classes and live wish granting. Wish Upon a Hero is the world’s largest online social helping network, connecting people in need with people willing to help. Since its launch in 2007, more than 87,000 wishes have been granted.
