Each summer, the skies over Lake Murray come to life as the Purple Martins arrive for their summer vacation. It is estimated that more than one million birds venture south for the summer and roost on Bomb Island. Join Mel Coker, life-long Columbia Resident, who lives on Lake Murray in a discussion about one of nature's true phenomena, the migration of the Purple Martin to Lake Murray.
