PHES Veterans Day Celebration
Pleasant Hill Elementary honors veterans, current military members, firefighters and police officers at the annual Veterans Day Celebration. Students who have a parent currently deployed will speak during the celebration. Retired Maj. Christopher Irvin, who served for 22 years in the U.S. Army, will be the special guest speaker. The program will end with a celebration lap around the school's track as students, parents and teachers wave flags in honor of all veterans.
