Ribbon Cutting - Pebble Creek

Pebble Creek is Lexington’s first and only affordable, Independent Living apartment community for seniors 55+.  Pebble Creek is a Tax Credit community so rents are set below the market rate, and income restrictions apply, based on household size.  Pebble Creek will accept Housing Choice Vouchers.
 
Every apartment at Pebble Creek has two bedrooms and two full bathrooms with all major appliances, including a microwave.  The apartments are luxuriously appointed with ceiling fans in every bedroom and living room, designer paint colors, emergency pulls in bathrooms and bedrooms and washer/dryer connections.  Pebble Creek has three levels but there is an elevator so no one has to walk up or down stairs.  There is a business center with computers available 24-hours, a laundry room with folding tables and there are two club rooms- one is a game room/library and one is a community room where food can be prepared and served.  At the end of each hallway is a sitting area for residents to meet and available for visitors who may be waiting for residents to join them.
 
There is a gazebo and an outdoor sitting area with an exercise walk.  Pets are welcome with some exceptions.  There are handicap accessible apartments available, and included in the rent is water, sewer and trash removal.  Pebble Creek is located at 136 Library Hill Lane in Lexington, SC, just down the street from the large Lexington County Library on Augusta Road.  Everything, including grocery stores, drug stores, restaurants, etc. is close by so it is a very convenient location.  There are only 48 apartment homes that will rent quickly so we want to spread the word that seniors have another option when deciding on a new home in Lexington.
