The Lexington County Sheriff's Department will be hosting the South Carolina Association of Law Enforcement Explorers (S.C.A.L.E.) summer conference. Law Enforcement Exploring is open to young men and women ages 14 through 20 years old with an interest in learning more about careers in the field of law enforcement.
The conference is a week-long event that will attract Explorer Cadets from law enforcement agencies all across South Carolina and from other state like Virginia, Tennessee and Florida. During the conference, Explorers will compete in individual and team events such as: Legal Knowledge, Traffic Collision Report Writing, Firearms, Crime Scene Investigation, High Risk Traffic Stops, Courtroom Testimony, Emergency Vehicle Operations, as well as several others. We anticipate between 250-300 participants.
We ask that you join us in helping to make this event a rewarding and memorable experience for all of the young people who will attend the conference by becoming a sponsor.
