The SC Pelion Peanut Party has been going nuts for 30 years. The Peanut Party began back on August 28, 1982. Back then the festival was a one day event. This year it is a 2 day event with Boiled Peanuts, carnival rides, food vendors, parade, live entertainment, craft show, Peanut Butter & Jelly Eating Contest, “Peanuts Your Way” tent and so much more! The SC Princess Pageant will be held on July 30, 2011 at Pelion High School’s Auditorium.
