Name: Stress Management - USC Small Business Development Center
Date: April 21, 2011
Time: 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM EDT
Event Description:
Increased heart rate, elevated blood pressure, shallow respiration , poor oxygenation as well as chronic tightness and pain in the neck, shoulders and low back are all symptoms of stress in none’s life.  The practice of Yoga assists in reversing all of these issues.  Often thought of as just “twisting oneself into a pretzel”.  Yoga is much more than that.  The release of the feel-good hormones increase the production of cortisol, the stress hormone, decreases with Yoga.

To demonstrate how Yoga can effectively relieve stress and/or anxiety, we are offering a program for Small Business owners that will teach techniques:

To remain calm in stressful situations.
To release chronic tension that is held in the body due to elevated levels of stress.
To identify stress triggers and develop methods of dealing with them before the stress is internalized.

There is no need for special clothing.  All will be done in a chair. Come and experience how Yoga can benefit you personally.
