The Art of Making Comics: Adventure, Science, and Satire! Adventure, Science, Satire! These are just some of the areas artists and writers have explored for generations through the world of comics and graphic novels. Sequential art is one of the most popular story-telling mediums around the globe--from comic strips to Manga, from humorous teen ankhs to social commentary. In this workshop Alex Simmons will introduce participants to the process of creating comic book characters & stories--from idea, to illustration, to full color art.
