The Town of Lexington will celebrate South Carolina Arbor Day, Friday, December 5, 2014 with the planting of a Chinese Elm tree at the Lexington Municipal Complex (outside of the Police Department) starting at 1:30 pm.
South Carolina Arbor Day has been held annually on the first Friday of December since 1934 and helps mark the beginning of planting season in the Palmetto State.
