Wine & Waltzes Gala with Lake Murray Symphony Orchestra
Lake Murray Symphony Orchestra kicks off the 2013-14 season with our fundraiser gala, Wine & Waltzes. This year, we?re adding a "touch of New Orleans" for a bit of dixieland, cajun, mardi gras style fun! Join us at The River Center in Saluda Shoals Park (directions below) on Friday evening, September 27th for this annual festivity. The gala includes dining, dancing and a silent auction. The lavish buffet style dinner has a variety of delicious choices including several cajun specialties and traditional southern favorites. Beverages include wine, beer and non-alcoholic options. The Carolina Jazz Society House Band, led by Dick Goodwin, begins the evening?s music. During the last hour, the symphony plays a variety of melodies for the dancing pleasure of guests. A large Silent Auction filled with many great bargains and one-of-a-kind items for sale takes place throughout the evening. Auction bid winners are announced during the last hour of the evening in-between sets while the orchestra plays.
