93.1 The Lake - MMG

Locally owned and operated Lake Murray Communications, LLC, WZMJ 93.1 FM is Lexington County?s radio station, broadcasting live from the shores of Lake Murray.

WZMJ is a family owned, independent, 6,000 watt radio station licensed to Batesburg, Lexington, and Lake Murray by the FCC. Branded as Z 93 ?The Lake,? our primary coverage area includes all of Lake Murray and it?s four surrounding counties, Lexington, Richland, Newberry and Saluda counties, as well as portions of Aiken, Orangeburg, Calhoun, Fairfield, Kershaw, Union and Laurens counties.

The Lake?s transmitting antenna is located in the center of Lexington County, with a tall-tower standing 1,087-feet (ASL) over Lake Murray.

Featuring a unique blend of ''Music For The Freshwater Coast,'' the Z 93 playlist includes multiple music genres; Classic Hits, Motown, Classic Rock & Roll, Crossover Country, Current Top 40, Vintage R&B, and regional Beach and Shag favorites.

The Lake?s programming line-up includes local personalities, Ken Martin, Ronny Lane, Mike Anderson, Mike Lockaby, Wes Shealy and station owner Mike Willis.

Each weekend, Casey Kasem's American Top 40 ?The 70's? airs Saturday from 9 am to 12 noon, while AT 40 ?The 80's? can be heard Sunday's, 5 pm to 9 pm. These classic American Top 40 Countdowns are perfectly suited for ?The Lake?s,? target demographic, Adults 35 to 65.

In addition, WZMJ is the Clemson Athletics? affiliate in the SC Midlands, airing Clemson Football, Basketball and Baseball.
